Key supports received during start-up process & the role WestBIC played
Two key supports received were Pre-Seed Start Fund and Prep4Seed (both by Enterprise Ireland).
WestBIC gave great guidance on the Enterprise Ireland Pre-Seed Start Fund (PSSF) application itself and critical feedback on what aspects needed further strengthening, sharpening up or just simply editing advice. WestBIC was really helpful on my Pre-Seed Startup Application to Enterprise Ireland, I highly recommend getting their guidance.

After receiving PSSF, we were then put forward for the Prep4Seed programme which is a 12 week programme deliver by the 4 Irish BIC's. Konree represented the WestBIC region and completed the programme at the end of 2023.
Future Plans
Konree Innovation have a R&D journey ahead, our future plans are to bring Konree Innovation’s Aquaculture Technology to the market to help build more sustainable aquaculture, enabling a faster food transition to lower carbon animal protein
Words of advice for new start-ups
Every application for funding brings experience, although the rejections feel bad, the key is to learn why it was rejected, get the feedback and this will help you later on to build better applications.
