The GREAT Project aims to accelerate the deployment of Smart Grid in North West Europe by encouraging communities and SMEs to develop and/or engage technological solutions for Smart Grid, Renewable Energy and Distributive Generation.

• Researched and developed policy issues for regulatory authorities
• Provided structured co-operation opportunities between the SME’s, research institutes and the technology developers.
