Enterprise Ireland
Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. They work in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets.
Competitive Start Fund (CSF)
The purpose of the Competitive Start Fund is to accelerate the growth of start-up companies that have the capacity and ambition to succeed in global markets. The fund is designed to enable those companies to reach key technical and commercial milestones. Applications are considered on a competitive basis. The maximum level of support per successful application is €50,000, for 10% in ordinary shares in the start-up company, to be released in 2 equal tranches of €25k (5% in ordinary shares for each tranche).
High Potential Startup (HSPU)
A HPSU is a company that is internationally focused, has the potential to employ at least 10 persons, and to generate revenues of at least €1million within 3 years of starting up. A HSPU is headquartered and controlled in Ireland and is less than five years old from the date registration.
Commercialisation Fund
Enterprise Ireland’s Commercialisation Fund supports third level researchers through both financial and soft supports, to translate their research into innovative and commercially viable products, services and companies. Enterprise Ireland's Commercialisation Fund Feasibility award is designed to provide researchers with the ability to validate the commercial opportunity for their technology. Researchers can access a grant of €15,000 to procure an independent industry expert consultant to conduct a market opportunity assessment and explore potential routes to commercialisation for their technology.

NDRC
NDRC, which stands for National Digital Research Centre, is now operated by Dogpatch Labs in partnership with a network of hubs from across the State. They provide the national startup accelerator programme for globally ambitious tech entrepreneurs in Ireland.
NDRC offer founder-friendly investment with mentorship from proven entrepreneurs and a whole range of value-adds. They are one of the first European accelerators to offer €100k investment using a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity), pioneered by Y Combinator.
Atlantic Bridge University Fund
Atlantic Bridge launched University Bridge Fund II to invest €80m in the next generation of global companies built from world class Irish research and innovation. Investment focus is on deep-technology companies including sectors such AI, robotics, quantum, healthtech addressing areas of global concern such as energy efficiency, climate, carbon reduction and healthcare
