Dr. Heinrich Anhold –

StableLab has developed the world’s first handheld blood test for horses that can detect and quantify infections in 10mins. The product is breakthrough on a number of levels; utilising a new biomarker in equine blood StableLab’s test can be used to screen for infections, confirm infectious diseases and monitor response to antibiotic treatment. Launched in July 2013 the product is now selling to horse vets in 10 countries worldwide.

CPS are a Customised Automation & Robotics Solutions Provider to manufacturing companies globally covering Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Optical, Electronics, Food & Cosmetics. They design bespoke equipment to suit their client’s requirements & do it all in house from concept to commissioning. They work closely with clients from initial enquiry through to training for the equipment on the customer’s floor after installation. Their automation & robotic solutions are installed & supported globally with clients in the US, Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore & across Europe. They currently employ 70 people in Tuam, Co. Galway. Among their clients are Transitions Optical, HP, P&G, MSD, Abbott, Baxter, Boston Scientific, AVE, Merit Medical, Cregana, Hollister, Shamir, Celestica, Becton Dickenson & Pfizer.

Ex Ordo is a privately held Irish technology company based in Galway, Ireland. The company develops web application software that enables academics and researchers to manage events. The founders of the company started developing technology for academic conferences back in 2008. As the technology matured and the number of customers grew, the company re-branded and was formally incorporated in 2011. Today the company has offices in Galway, Boston and London. And their technology is being used by academic conferences in Europe, the USA, South America, Asia and Australia. The company expects that Ex Ordo will become the industry standard platform for running research conferences by 2016. The company is backed by Enterprise Ireland (government agency responsible for supporting Irish businesses) and other private investors. The company is actively seeking investment.
