Interreg IIIB Project — Quality SME
WESTBIC's Roscommon office is a partner on an approved Interreg IIIB project entitled Quality SME.The aim of this project, with Portuguese and Spanish partners, is to develop and implement a practical user guide to implementing quality standards in SME's in three key areas:
- Quality Management (ISO9000)
- Care for the Environment (ISO14000)
- Health and safety in the workplace
It is hoped that the availability of such guides, coupled with the necessary training, will eliminate the need to hire expensive consultants by SME's wishing to pursue such quality standards on limited budgets.
