Mayo Ideas Week 2011 - Events countywide

Mayo Ideas Week is a co-ordinated series of idea generation and entrepreneurship events in venues all over the county, hosted by Mayo Ideas Lab through its partner agencies. It runs from Monday 19 to Friday 23 September and consists of seminars and workshops to suit those already in business as well as those thinking of taking the plunge. The focus is on industry sectors which show potential for growth in the county. Most events are free of charge but some require advance booking.
The objective of Mayo Ideas Week is to focus on industry sectors which show potential for growth in Co. Mayo. Events will highlight trends and opportunities for new enterprise in these sectors including Food, Digital Media and the Creative Industries and the Offshore Energy Sector. Events highlighting and supporting entrepreneurship in general will also feature as part of the week.
