SMEs Invited To Participate In Innovation Survey

By Joan Fahey, July 22, 2010

In partnership with the BMW Regional Assembly, WESTBIC is currently undertaking a survey of innovative enterprises across the Border, Midland and Western region of Ireland. The survey aims to identify the research and innovation needs and potential of innovative SMEs, current suppliers of Knowledge Intensive Services (KIS) and existing gaps that may be addressed. It is envisaged that the results can be used to influence future policy and the delivery of innovation support, aimed at better encouraging and fostering innovation across the region. It is anticipated that the results will be published as part of an updated Audit of Innovation for the BMW Region.

We would be pleased if you could assist us with this important task by completing the online survey which should only take a few minutes. Click on the following link to access the survey:

At an EU level, the project aims to enhance Knowledge Transfer and Innovation support processes through the promotion of Knowledge Intensive Services with a focus on exchanges of good practice models across the Atlantic Area. The Atlantic Area Programme is a transnational cooperation programme with the objective of "European Territorial Co-operation", an instrument of cohesion policy for the programming period 2007-2013, financed by the European Commission through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
