QUALITY-SME Training Programme Schedule

Training in Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSAS 18001) and production of Safety Statements will take place in selected locations in the coming weeks in the context of the Quality-SME programme, funded through INTERREG IIIB Atlantic Area.
The training, which is being run with the support of local organisations in each region, will consist of group sessions as well as one-to-one mentoring support for individual enterprise to assist them in developing their own Safety Statements for their business. The venues and start dates are detailed as follows:
• October 5th 2005: Athlone, Co Westmeath (in conjunction with Westmeath County Enterprise Board)
• October 6th 2005: Furbo, Co. Galway, (in conjunction with Udaras Na Gaeltachta)
• October 13th 2005: Galway Technology Centre, Mervue, Galway
A copy of the Guide for Integrated Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management in SME's, produced through the Programme, will be available to all participants.
