Looking for nominations for All-Island Innovation Awards

Successful innovation is not simply a matter of coming up with great ideas. It is the ability to nurture ideas and make them work that truly distinguishes innovative business success.
The Irish Times and InterTradeIreland invite indigenous and international companies, small, medium or large, and who are operating throughout the island of Ireland, to promote their service, product or operational innovations by entering the second annual Irish Times InterTradeIreland Innovation Awards, which will be held in March 2011.
The overall ‘Innovation of the Year’ will win a high profile communications package in The Irish Times worth in excess of €200,000.The winners will also be offered high profile networking and speaking opportunities at various Irish Times and InterTradeIreland events throughout the year.
For the 2011 Awards, the judges are looking for innovative business breakthroughs across the following fields:
1. Organisational Systems or Process Innovation
2. Product Innovation
3. Service Innovation
4. Innovation in the Application of R&D
5. Green-Tech Innovation
6. Innovation in North/South Collaboration
7. Public Service Innovation
The closing date for received applications is 12.30pm Monday 20th December 2010.
