Letterkenny Business Development Centre
The Business Development Centre at Letterkenny Institute of Technology, operational since July 2000, provides a modern facility to attract investors into the region as well as allowing local talent to develop.
As well as being an academic institution the Development Centre support the creation of jobs and entices more LYIT graduates to stay in the region. WESTBIC assisted in drawing up the strategic plan for the Centre and our network office for North Donegal is located there.
The Centre provides campus based incubation facilities for start-up businesses. It also provides facilities for industrial research and commercial services to local industry. It includes on-site facilities for an Engineering Training Centre and a computer training room, lecture theatre and business centre with video conferencing services are also available.
The Centre has been designed to provide a supportive, learning, innovative and entrepreneurial environment to start-up businesses with managerial and administrative support at a competitive cost.
