INNOVATION AND ICT AUDITING
WESTBIC has built up considerable experience in Innovation and IT auditing, both through pilot initiatives with Strategic Partners as well as through co-operation and exchange programmes with EU partners. The aim of these initiatives is to introduce SMEs and micro enterprise to a range of innovation and ICT practices and technologies and to assist them with the implementation of innovation strategies within their businesses.
Additionally, WESTBIC has developed its expertise in the delivery of the TechCheck service on behalf of City and County Enterprise Boards in the region. Since the programme commenced in 2007, WESTBIC has delivered the service to a wide selection of businesses across a diverse range of sectors. Building on WESTBIC’s capabilities, the organisation adds value in service delivery through the adoption of a 360 degree approach to auditing client enterprises, to identify further improvements that can be made to assist the company to become more innovative and competitive, thereby improving performance.
