INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY TOOLS FOR SME'S
The development of suitable training material, training methodologies, practices and tools for creativity and innovation in the work place (including a creativity & innovation self-audit tool) is the basis of a WESTBIC pilot project which aims to support European SMEs and R&D organizations to benefit from this knowledge and use it in a practical manner in their everyday activities.
Finding the right information and tools to address questions regarding creativity and innovation management is often difficult. As a result, eight European partners from Greece , Italy , Spain , Austria, Lithuania and Ireland (WESTBIC), have developed a creativity and innovation platform (portal), supported through the Leonardo da Vinci TRACTORS project - TRaining MAterial for Creativity and InnovaTion for EurOpean R&D Organisations & SMEs. This platform allows managers, employees and researchers interested in creativity and innovation, to answer most of their questions regarding these subjects. It helps them to deal with issues such as, how to foster a climate of creativity, identifying obstacles that block creativity, where to look for new ideas and how to identify them etc.
The website, www.train4creativity.eu, is designed to inform you about the project activities and training services offered and other features including the creativity and innovation audit tool. Moreover, having being developed as a creativity and innovation portal, this site offers useful information on complementary issues such as creativity and innovation researchers, practitioners, consultants, etc. as well as creativity and innovation case studies from European organizations.
