Regional Offices

WestBIC operates from seven regional offices providing direct, on the ground support for entrepreneurs and enterprises in the greater Border, Midland and Western region. The territory covered by these offices extends outwards from the following areas:

Galway City

WestBIC office in Galway city is located Galway Technology Centre at Mervue Business Park. This is a state of the art 50,000 sq. ft. incubation facility supported by WestBIC. The Centre is strategically located in the heartland of the IT zone in the West of Ireland and is an ideal location for new or relocating IT/knowledge-based companies. The range of units and services offered are designed to facilitate companies in the start-up, R&D and developmental stages of their businesses.

Mayo Office

The Mayo office is located on campus in the GMIT Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC) which provides incubation facilities and support to entrepreneurs and start-up companies​.

Donegal Office – Cill Chartha

In 2008, WestBIC officially opened its new state-of-the-art incubation and enterprise facility in the Donegal Gaeltacht, in Cill Chartha, Co. Donegal. The Fiontarlann centre offers high quality office space for knowledge based and office businesses, ranging from single desk spaces in a shared hot desk facility to units of 1000 sq ft.Eunan Cunningham and Carmel Haughey make up the Cill Charthaigh team and they can be contacted at:

Letterkenny Office

Our WestBIC office in Letterkenny is set up in partnership with the Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) with support from ADM/CPA Special Support Programmes for P&R. It is located on campus in the Business Development Centre at the College, which provides campus based incubation facilities for start-up businesses.

Roscommon Office

WestBIC’s office in Roscommon town is located in the Business Centre on the Racecourse Road and was set up in partnership with Roscommon County Council and Roscommon County Enterprise Board. The office provides assistance to projects in County Roscommon and is also well placed as the central delivery point for services in the Midlands region.

Each office is staffed by experienced personnel, who have specific expertise and local knowledge relating to their respective regions. Offices are established in conjunction with local partners and intermediaries involved with enterprise support in each region.
