The platform strives to create a matching service where social challenges can be addressed by powerful and innovative solution providers from across Europe. When a suitable match is found the project provides €30,000 in grants and dedicated support, to help deliver practical and marketable solutions.

The Platform supports committed Public Authorities, Private Companies, Third Sector Organisations in defining and prioritising social and environmental challenges, and uploading them onto the platform. In turn, the participation of social innovators, start-ups and SMEs to identify, fund, co-develop and test concrete solutions to address these needs is a vital element. In Ireland, the project is supported and delivered by WestBIC and they are encouraging challenge owners and solution providers alike, to utilise this superb facility.
